SUN CREST Peach Faire with the Masumoto family
Sierra Nut House - preorder Masumoto organic Sun Crest peaches: 559 432-4023
GREETINGS PEACH LOVERS
People of often asked how can they get our organic SUN CREST PEACHES.
This is our favorite peach, the one with juices that drip down your face and a flavor that has an OMG factor. (This is one of the peaches highlighted in the July issue of Martha Stewart Living Magazine and a 12 page feature on our farm).
Please join the Masumoto Family Farm for a PEACH FAIRE on July 16th at Sierra Nut House, Villaggio Center on Blackstone Ave. in Fresno. We’ll be there from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
We’ll be giving samples of Sun Crest along with some treats prepared by Marcy and Nikiko.
Masumoto organic Sun Crest peaches will be available for purchase but they must be preordered: a 12 pound box is $30.00 and a 6 pound box is $15.00. Order your peaches through Sierra Nut House: (559) 432-4023. (If you can’t pick them up on Friday and visit with the Masumotos, let Sierra Nut House know and Saturday will work).
Also available will be copies of the July 2010 Martha Stewart Living Magazine featuring the Masumotos, as well as Mas’ books.
Here’s what Mas wrote about the Sun Crest in his book Epitaph for a Peach:
“Sun Crest is one of the last remaining, truly juicy peaches. When you wash that treasure under a stream of cooling water, your fingertips instinctively search for the "gushy" side of the fruit. Your mouth waters in anticipation. You lean over the sink to make sure you don't drip on yourself. Then you sink your teeth into the flesh and the juices trickle down your cheeks and dangles on your chin. This is a real bite, a primal act, a magical sensory celebration announcing that summer has arrived.”
We’d love to see and meet you and share some peach spirit! Come visit!

This all takes place Friday, June 18th from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at the Sierra Nut House located in Villaggio Center in Fresno, Calif.
