Blossom Bathing is our offering inspired by the Japanese practice of “forest bathing” (shinrin-yoku). We invite you to immerse yourself in a deeper relationship with plants through the sensory experience of walking through our farm. Blossom bathing is a practice of restoration. It is an invitation to connect with plants and the soil, give yourself space and time to breathe, go slowly, walk mindfully, and turn your attention to just being here, now. (Note: there’s no actual bathing, we mean it metaphorically.)
Where: Our farm is about 20 minutes south of Fresno, California, between the towns of Fowler and Del Rey. Keep reading for info on how to arrive.
What we provide: invitations to be present and engage with nature through a self-guided farm walk.
Note on weather: Blossom Bathing continues rain or shine! With appropriate attire and sturdy boots, walking through the orchard with rain could be magical.
What to wear: check the temperature forecast and layer accordingly. For safety, wear closed-toe shoes as the fields are bumpy and uneven. Opt for functional footwear: something that you’d wear for a long walk or a hike.
No Pets: We love pets, but please leave all of them at home.
We are not able to refund no-shows.
If you have questions, we’ll get to them as soon as we can. Please e-mail masumotofamilyfarm@gmail.com
