A Note: We are very excited about this year! If you and your team adopted in 2024, we need to calibrate expectations a little bit. For Elberta peach teams: 2024 was a BUMPER crop year. If you harvested Elberta peaches in 2024, make sure you adjust your expectations of volume for 2025, rarely do we have 2 bumper crop years in a row.

What would you and your team like to adopt?

Note: in 2024 we piloted expanding our peach adoption to include Baby Crawford. We feel like we need one more year of experimenting, so we're keeping the set-up the same as 2024. All Elberta peach applications include a "share" of Baby Crawford peaches. If you're just applying for Le Grand nectarines, we hope to have a Baby Crawford add on in the future, but we're not ready yet for 2025!

Harvest Dates: Nature is unpredictable. Your team needs to be ready to harvest two consecutive Saturdays OR Sundays, but we won't know which two weekends until July. Your team needs to hold the following weekends as potential harvest weekends:

What motivates you to take on this wild program of organizing a team of people to travel to Fresno County and harvest organic fruit in the sweltering 100 degree heat? What will you do with potentially 300 pounds of organic fruit?

For ALL applicants: 2025 for many Asian cultures and peoples (including our family) is the year of the snake.

At this time of year (winter), snakes make us think about hibernation and emergence, shedding and renewal, mystery and transformation. Snakes are part of our farm and are signals to us of a vibrant complex network of creatures living on our farm. Share some reflections on TWO (or more) of the following questions: (1) What are your winter practices of sleep, rest, or quiet? (2) What do you want to shed in 2025? (3) What do you want to keep close in 2025? (4) Is there any part of farming that you find mysterious? If yes, share more! (5) What signals you that it is time for transformation?
