late winter/early spring 2022

Blossom experiences return!

This year, we’re offering 2 different types of Blossom experiences:

  1. “Blossom bathing” is our offering inspired by the Japanese practice of “forest bathing” (shinrin-yoku). We invite you to immerse yourself in a deeper relationship with plants through the sensory experience of walking through our farm. Blossom bathing is a practice of restoration. It is an invitation to connect with plants and the soil, give yourself space and time to breathe, go slowly, walk mindfully, and turn your attention to just being here, now. (Note: there’s no actual bathing, we mean it metaphorically.)

  2. ….a second offering, details to be announced soon!

  • Where? Our farm is about 20 minutes south of Fresno, California. We will send a map for those of you who complete a reservation.

  • When? We’re hosting Blossom Bathing timed as best as we can with the opening of blossoms in one part of our farm. In 2022, we’re predicting blossoms the last week of February and early March. We’ll update our website + include ways of making reservations very soon!

  • 2021 Blossom Bathing Days:

    • Thursday, March 4

    • Saturday, March 6

    • Sunday, March 7

    • Thursday, March 11

    • Friday, March 12

    • Saturday, March 13

    • Sunday, March 14 ***Daylight Savings Time Change***

  • Times vary:

    • Thursdays and Fridays 5:15pm-6:15pm

    • Saturdays and Sundays start times: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm

  • Who? One household per time slot OR if someone lives in a household of 1, you may do Blossom Bathing with 1 other person. Think of this like a “farm hike” and come prepared to be outside and walk in dirt and on uneven surfaces.

  • How will it work? To reserve, you’ll pick a time slot (1.5 hours per reservation on weekends, 1 hour on week evenings). Your time slot is for you only — no one else will be Blossom Bathing at the same time. This is to give you the option of enjoying the space in calm and with maximum safety. We will e-mail a map upon reservation payment. Once you arrive at the farm, you’ll do a self-guided walk with a map + immersion points with site specific activities. In order for this to work, you need to depart the farm before the next group arrives, so please honor your exit time.

  • How do I sign up? The reservation button below will take you through the process. For this pilot year, reserving a time slot is $25 per reservation time. If you would like to donate to help us expand this program for others and into the future, we would welcome the gesture (there’s a separate donation button in the shop)! There will be no refunds because once you reserve, no one else will be able to reserve your time slot. Thank you for understanding.

  • What we ask of you: respect for the land - no climbing trees, touching or disturbing blossoms or any other living things. Each blossom becomes a peach or nectarine. Please follow instructions and map provided at arrival. We are a working farm with farm dogs, so we cannot allow any dogs or other animals to come with you.

  • What will you walk away with? a unique experience - calm - dirt in your shoes - quiet of the farm - and a small parting gift from the farm.

  • What happens if it rains? First of all, we’re experiencing drought conditions, so we will be so happy if it rains! Blossom Bathing is a natural experience, as is rain, so we welcome you to still participate in Blossom Bathing if it rains. If the rain manifests in the forecast, we will individually reach out to you regarding your reservation.
